Miso Butter Cookies

Perfect for a snack! These are lightly sweet cookies with a crisp texture and a lovely miso aroma.

Ingredients

(Serves 24)

1/4 cup Miso & Easy

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 ts.p salt

3/4 cup unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

1 egg

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

1:

Preheat oven to 375F. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy with an electric mixer. Beat in Miso & Easy, egg and vanilla. Continue beating on high while adding flour mixture until fully combined.

Roll cookie dough into a 12-inch log and cover with plastic wrap. Chill until firm, then cut into 1/2 inch slices.

4:

Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes.
