Anytime Miso Marinade

This miso marinade is easy to prepare and, when used with chicken, shows off the intricate flavors of a quality miso.


  • 4 lb Chicken breast
  • 10 oz. Marukome Miso
  • 0 oz. Plain yogurt
  • 5.3 oz. sugar
  • Approx. 1.5 to 2 lb. chicken thigh pieces


Step One

Mix with a whisk, miso, yogurt and sugar in a medium size bowl. Set aside.

Step Two

Mix miso mixture and chicken in an airtight container. Cover with plastic wrap on top and close with lid. Keep in refrigerator overnight.

Step Three

Heat grill or frying pan. Remove all excess Miso mixture from chicken. Cook chicken until heated through. Serve warm.
