PORK MISO SOUP
A Meaty Miso
- The addition of pork and vegetables to this delicious miso soup recipe brings protein and new umami flavors to the classic.
¼ lb shredded pork
1/3 cup chopped carrot
1/3 cup chopped gobo
1/3 cup chopped daikon radish
1/3 cup chopped onion
1tbsp. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. Marukome Dashi-iri Miso
01 Saute pork, carrot, gobo, daikon radish with vegetable oil in a pot for about 3 min.
02 Add water, boil, and cook all vegetables and meat thoroughly.
03 Reduce the heat, and add Marukome Dashi-iri Miso (make sure not to boil after adding Miso).
04 Garnish with green onion and serve hot.
