A 2-Step Miso Soup

This delicious 2-step miso soup is sweeter than the classic, using a mellower white miso and naturally sweet corn.


  • 4 Tbsp. Marukome Dashi iri Miso
  • 4 oz.(110g) spinach, blanched and cut into ¼ inch strips
  • ½ cup corn
  • 6 oz Fried Tofu
  • 3 ½ cups water


Step One

Boil water and add spinach, corn, and fried tofu.

Step Two

Reduce the heat, and add Marukome Dashi iri Miso. Make sure not to boil after adding Miso. Serve immediately.
