Garlic Chili Miso Edamame

Edamame tossed in a bold garlic chili miso saucesavory, slightly sweet, and irresistibly addictive.

Ingredients

(Serves 4-5)
  • 12 oz. frozen edamame (in pods),
  • ends trimmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. Miso & Easy
  • 1 tbsp. light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. water
  • 1 small red chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt (for boiling water)

Directions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt, then the trimmed edamame. Cook 3 - 4 minutes until tender. Drain and transfer to a bowl.
  2. In a smal bowl, add minced garlic. Mix in miso broth concentrate, light soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and water until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the hot edamame, add chopped red chili, and toss wel. Serve warm or at room temperature.
