A Unique Father's Day Celebration in the Pretend City

Every month we hold a food education event using fermented foods at the Pretend City Children's Museum in California.
This month we held two Father's Day events at 11:00 and 2:30 on Saturday, June 15th. We sang to our fathers, demonstrated how to make “miso chocolate brownies”, and at the end, the children enjoyed tasting the miso dessert.
We believe in the importance of being educated about what we eat, especially in this age of overabundance.
As a miso manufacturer founded in a prefecture with a long life expectancy in Japan, we aim to convey to the world about the unique appeal of fermented foods in this learning space.
It is also our mission to continue exploring ways of providing food education that only Marukome can provide. It is essential that we support children's healthy eating habits.
The next event will be held on Thursday, July 11th.
